Dr Matthew Weston is a Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and Reader at Manchester Metropolitan University. Matthew has 25 years combined experience of working as a practitioner in elite sport with university and industry research positions.
Applied positions include Head of Sports Science for the Professional Game Match Officials (England), Senior Football Researcher at the Aspire Academy (Qatar), and Director of Sports Science with the Professional Referee Organization (USA).
Matthew is a Fellow of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and has published widely in sports performance.
